Influencers, out of Love or even something else, are pushing a hard fork. Mempool policy / relay policy won't solve this issue [JPEGS] only a change in consensus will and a change in consensus means some sort of Fork.
What the "new" Bitcoin will be called I don't know... "Bitcoin Pure" or "Bitcoin Fixed" or "Bitcoin FTF" (Fix the Filters) but it's coming.
Any opposition to it is "corruption", any opposing voices... are VC-paid or VC-backed on the side of JPEGS.
If you oppose the new fork then you are 'captured' and want Bitcoin to become a database solely for scams and NFTs -> you are malevolent and deliberately want to hurt Bitcoin (because you are paid by VCs selling NFTs) and the Forkers will tell you this with absolute, overwhelming certainty.
Begun the Fork-Wars have.

bitcoin spam
Meanwhile, transaction fee rates as low as ever:
and mempool as empty as ever:

The filter-ers don't care. "It's not about the fees" they say. They have said this directly to me.
In fact they blame the 'low fees'... on the inconsistency of the high fees we had in late 2023 or early 2024. The 'spam' pushed people away from on-chain is their line of thinking... so the only way to 'save' Bitcoin is to purify it. When "running Knots" fails to stop the spam... what is the next step?
