I don't think this scams will affect Bitcoin in the long term, actually the opposite.
When people realize that bitcoin's features are unique, they will also realize that they don't need a middleman like FTX.

Okay obviously the mean the perception of Bitcoin who haven't/refuse to separate Bitcoin from crypto, not its functionality, in the short term.
Basically stating the obvious really. Look how many news channels are questioning the value of Bitcoin because of FTX. Look at how many people say crypto when you talk about Bitcoin. Look at how many people slam on Bitcoin because of ponzi schemes in crypto.
