I associate so much nostalgia with Ocarina of Time. It's been 25 years, and I still listen to the soundtrack at work from time to time.
What was your favorite game from the Nintendo 64 era?
Hybrid heaven!!

Goldeneye. It's not even close.

This has to be my favorite multiplayer N64 game. So many rounds with my friends.
A lot of Mario Party too :)
Edit: And Super Smash Bros. Can't leave that one out.

I want to play this on the switch and I tried a couple times but the controls don't translate well. There are different settings you can try. I tried a few and they all suck.

It was so well executed. The team landed on a patch of magic.
According to the wikipedia (which is fantastic reading) the game was developed by an inexperienced team:
Development began in January 1995. An inexperienced team led by Martin Hollis developed GoldenEye 007 over two and a half years.

I played it many years ago. I want to play again but I can’t get used to the translated controls because n64 controller is quite different than modern controllers.

Without a doubt it was "Super Mario 64" when they released the movie was something that I enjoyed a lot, since it is full of details and references of that great game.

I actually preferred the Super Nintendo but I would say for N64 it be a tie between Goldeneye and MarioKart I do not remember playing anything else on that console growing up.

Mario Cart!

hard to pick just one, so many great games on the 64. OoT is up there, along with GoldenEye, with friends, and I also played a lot of Mario Kart and Diddy Kong Racing and duke duke nukem 64.
maybe GoldenEye gets the crown since it had so much replayability on multiplayer
