It is quite boring for beginners ngl 😂 But the base thing is that once any such theory - be it the String Theory, Supergravity theories, Loop Quantum Gravity Theory (mentioned in the post) - is proved correct, we can deal with building things with gravity. I mean machines with >= 100% efficiency! So of course it is interesting :)
