Most of the music I listen is saved on my devices, I do not stream much and I don't like Spotify at all. This has limited a little my access to some things, but I rather keep it that way.

What would you say is the best source to find old and new music? I've taken some from the pirate bay, but I heard there are better sources. Something in my memory recalls a Russian maintained site with mostly everything there is music wise. Help me find that gem.

Do you use Android? If so, you can download a FOSS app called NewPipe, which is YouTube without ads. You can download videos and also in MP3 format, selecting the quality as well. I use it to download all kinds of music hassle free with just a click!

App link : NewPipe

FOSS music player : https://f-droid.org/packages/org.nuclearfog.apollo

Already using it, but YT is not really the best source of music. If you want a whole album or some particular artists are simply not there.

NewPipe works pretty well though, I was using LIbretube, but this one is better.

Oh! I got it. Actually, you're right that YouTube is not a good source of music, but I stopped downloading music from websites as they come with a lot of risks now (yeah, not all of them). I find YouTube pretty decent for my needs, but that's fine. If I find a good secure website, I'll let you know.

Yeah, I rarely encounter any problems with this one.

I sing out of the chorus, but have you ever thought of searching on Telegram ?

I use this app a lot and I have (almost) always found what I was looking for.

Obviously, occasionally, it happens that they close the channels for copyright infringement, but then they reopen others.
