I'll be honest I'm not very hopeful for the future direction of this country, as Trump's rise seems to have only emboldened the drunk-on-welfare-spending fiat lackeys.

The choice between a pro-cbdc and pro-bitcoin candidate, is clear to me. However, I think most 'landed'-middle class Canadians (meaning those who own homes and to whom it benefits to have rising asset prices, more inflation, etc.), will cooly overlook the abhorrent privacy concerns and government overreach and hypnotize themselves into believing that we need more, better government programs.
