I liked Sphinx till it stopped working. The Dev team couldn’t figure out why my hosted node failed.
Sphinx is incredible. It's a LN node management app, and it reads description tx, which makes it a chat app. You chat literally on LN.
You either have to run a LN node and install sphinx relay or rent Sphinx nodes for sats.
For nice experience and 0 fees it's better to open channel with them, if you run it on your node. Nice people there give it a try
I want this to be my primary chat app, but it doesn’t feel ready yet
My impression is that Stakwork have other, likely more profitable projects and Sphinx isn't getting the attention as a result
I hope the situation changes as the app surely shows a lot of promise.
