This first image terrified and fascinated me at the same time. I have limited experience flying; the turbulence made me dizzy, and the altitude caused me some panic, but there's no doubt it was an incredible sight. I'm used to watching the sunset. I usually miss the sunrise, but this one was the exception. It was welcoming, especially after a few scary hours.

The view from this flight was beautiful, and my daughter loved it.

She would get so excited and say, "Look, Mom, we're inside a cloud!"
