How are Sanders and Will Johnson still available?

It really seems that Sanders is way more of a project then media made it seem, plus I don't know if teams want the circus that surrounds him. Sort of like Lonzo/LaMello Ball and their dad.

reply

He might not even be a project. They might see him as having little developmental upside and capping out as a backup.

That would make the drama and circus surrounding him very unattractive.

reply

Browns will take him in the 3rd. Maybe.

reply

What if the Titans just grab him as Ward insurance?

reply

Not even the Steelers? Damn

reply

That's pretty shocking. They either think they can grab him or Milroe later or Rodgers is signing and they'll take a QB next year.

reply

Ok, now I'm predicting Rams backup QB for Sanders.

Or maybe they are hoping to tank for Arch Manning.

reply

Steelers tanking would be perfect way to bring the NFL to Dublin, Ireland this year haha.

That's an insane fall. The last one I remember being like this was Malik Willis.

reply

Packers legend Malik Willis :). I think Malik will find some work hopefully with another team after 2 seasons learning from the Pack. He showed well last year.

reply

Green to Ravens. I don't hate that as much as Chiefs or Eagles but I don't like it.

reply

I saw that. They were another team that I thought might have low enough standards, but I didn't want to stick that on this current group.

reply

Trey Amos is a great pick for Commies. Adam Peters is a beast.

reply

Cards just took Will Johnson.

@hardmoney must be happy with this draft so far. Cards D has gotten a lot better.

reply

And the Raiders promptly trade down again

reply

Why not? Board is falling nicely.

reply

They might have stuck and picked Johnson. Not sure.

reply

Teams must have been really concerned about Johnson's medicals.

reply

Weird thing is he’s healthy enough to play rn. Concerns is longevity. Frankly in this nfl if he is mostly healthy for his rookie contract and starts that is good value for 2nd round picks

reply

Spytek trades down the same way I do on the simulators.

reply

Haha that's awesome. "Let me see how many picks I can get"

reply

I had hoped he'd continue to fall and we'd come.up and get him. But not this time.

Great corner, if that knee checks out good then complete steal.

reply

Do you like the Vikings picks so far?

reply

In Kwesi we trust.

Felton raised an eyebrow for sure, but WR is a low-key requirement for us. Jefferson or Addison go down and we're gunna have a rough day, so I think it's a great forward thinking pick.

I love the Jackson pick at #24. Hope to see a Corner or a DT. Rumours of Asantee Samuel jr coming over are heating up, so maybe that's why we've not prioritised a corner maybe?

Overall so far I am very pleased with this draft.

reply

Big draft so far. Good offseason in general. Went from having the worst dline room in the league to it being one of their strongest position groups adding Josh Sweat, Tomlinson and Calais Campbell before big Walt pick

reply

Defense really improved.

reply

Gannon and Nick Rallis are good d coaches too. Had limited talent but held their own. Offence inconsistency killed us
