Who did you want to be when you grew up?

People always ask kids who or what they want to be when they grow up, but how many of us end up doing the job?
For me, as a young kid I always liked the idea of being a fireman. To this day, it's one of the traditional type jobs that I think I wouldn't mind doing.
That being said, from about age 19 I left my country to live abroad and, basically, that was it. There was to be no trad path for me in any way, shape or form.
I also remember in my teens thinking it would be cool to have a video store, ah the naivete.
How about you stackers? did life get in the way or did you grow up to live the dream?

Being a Firefighter would be pretty rewarding, and there is a kind of camaraderie that cannot be found anywhere else.
As a kid, I liked to tinker with electronics, so wanted to be an electrical repairman of some sort.

Sincerely, since I was a child I fascinated the idea of ​​flying planes, I grew up near an air base and always listened to the aircraft to take off. When I grew up I stopped that to do that I had to do a military career, and that was all to leave it behind.
My soul is always longing to live free, and I felt that a military career and deliver my life and effort to the State would not be of my liking for the long term.
It was when I discovered, that I was not born to fly, that was an illusion of a child.
I was born to be a pirate y🦜 🏴‍☠️ sailing free for life without belonging to the traditional system.
