Huge news with this as this has shaken the hockey world. No reason has been given due to a standard legal ban against publicizing trial proceedings that take place without the jury present. It really makes me wonder though. New trial begins Friday now.
The trial had begun Wednesday, and the prosecution's first witness only briefly took the stand before testimony was put on hold for legal arguments that took place in the absence of the jury.
Wow surprising.
Have you heard anything about why it was declared? I mean after all the first witness had barely started talking when it was passed, jury removed, then mistrial declared
Haven't really looked into it. I saw another news article after your post and briefly read it but I don't know that it is clear.
If you hear/see anything tag me in it!
