Some of us fellows (couldn’t be me!) are bringing Lent to a close, which means the long-awaited return of…
🥩 Steak. Glorious, fire-kissed steak.
Gentlemen, it’s no secret: Some of the most vicious, meme-rich battles in Bitcoin have been fought over steak.
It’s almost ridiculous. We’re here for money, sovereignty, and proof-of-work... where does steak even fit in? Admittedly, the genesis of this post might be the ribeye on my plate tonight. But I really think steak hides some deep, semi-mystical connection to the Bitcoin Standard.
We even say things like “Fiat Food.” Why?
Is it about quality of life? The labor required to bring steak to the table—a kind of edible proof-of-work?
Food is energy. And if Bitcoin is perfect monetary energy…
Bear with me here: Is the ribeye perfect culinary energy?
🤔 Is that the link? Why do we include Steak and Bitcoin together at all?
p.s. Yes, I've been wanting to make a post about this for a year now.
