It sounds like they are finally shipping: https://www.trustpilot.com/review/heatbit.com
But if you read some of the older reviews, they left some of their early customers in the dark for months.

Interesting, thanks for the link! Not a ton of info on the website outside some general specs...but I love the idea of mining solutions like this that put miners into the internet of things.

So, instead of a $60 S9, you pay $1,150 for this heatbit same 14 TH/s and same performance.
But this is quieter, it can be run in a living space.
Bad timing for Heatbit ... what a waste.

They are no longer profitable even at $0.03 per kWh. No commercial miners can use them. That's nothing new, but what is new is the mining operators that had either decomissioned and warehoused them, or even left them in place but not powered on ... "just in case" the price rebounded are now liquidating them as they need the cash.
BitFarms just released a quarterly statement and simply wrote off their remaining S9s as they weren't worth the effort of selling them even:

It may be possible to instead use a cheap ASIC rig, but use fans that can reduce fan speeds, and then customize the power outputs to make it silent (or nearly so).

I just did a research early today before I saw this and I couldnt find much info apart from a few reviews and what is mentioned on their site .... I managed to idenfity on founder but not much info available online
I support the idea (in principle) but they may need to verify the mining capability and its promise as the ASIC is embedded in the device
it costs around $1150 with up to 14TH/s (im generally sceptical about things "up to")
