We watched and enjoyed it last night, and I was pleasantly surprised by how little the trailers gave away (in spite of every YT commenter saying it gave away the whole plot, as if the twist of the title was the "Bruce Willis is Dead" moment instead of something we learn in the first act). I'd categorize it as essentially a Gen Z neo-noir, kind of like Bodies Bodies Bodies in that it takes from other genres in the process. Like @k00b (see #894873), I thought that Barbarian was better, but I still found it worth my time.
I'd probably have added another fifteen minutes to help increase the tension (especially in the second act -- more Harvey Guillén would have helped a lot), but I'm also not a filmmaker, so what do I know?
