I had a call earlier today with @BrianAtchue and he gave me a really cool idea for a Lightsats campaign during Thanksgiving. I would love to get thoughts from the community and possibly collaborate on something.
Given the current events happening lately and the price of bitcoin being close to -70% down from last year's Thanksgiving, many of us are going to get the awkward questions about how bitcoin's price is so low and all the nonsense that's been happening plus add all the FUD that the media puts out there.
This could be a perfect opportunity to use our Lightsats site to get your family members to have a more hands on approach with bitcoin in a fun and positive way. When they bring up the topic you can ask them if they want to experience it first-hand with a game.
I was thinking people could create their own Family Lightning Torch 🔥 as something they can experience and get everyone involved with. You could start it with one person, create a tip with a sizable amount of sats where they can keep an x amount and keep passing on to the rest of family members until it reaches the last person.
This would allow the first user to receiver their first sats, go through a quick onboarding to download a wallet and they can replicate the same scenario with the next person. They will experience receiving some sats and giving away so sats as well.
On this they can do with their sat you could show some of the sites and services we have listed on our guide.
Any thoughts on this?
I'll be giving away 1000 sats to people that give some feedback and leave a screenshot of a Lightsats invoice. 🎉
