Recently I stumbled upon the simplest, most effective bed frame I've ever found.

It's entirely made of wood (13-ply maple plywood), and every piece slots into another perpendicular piece to provide insane strength and rigidity in all directions.

As a bonus, the bed also expands on-the-fly to fit any size mattress, from a twin all the way up to a king.
