Man, you guys are lucky with the game tickets. We went to a couple Canucks games during those years when they were contenders. Even the nosebleeds cost over to $100 a seat. This was in 2010 / 2011 Canadian dollars too. I guess Vancouver just has nothing going on, and when the Canucks are good, everyone in the city wants to go to their games.

Leafs tickets would have been even more than that. One of the reasons that drove me to hate the Leafs is making me feel stupid for wasting hundreds of dollars to see them play.

Hockey used to be more expensive (at least in Toronto) than basketball but Raptors tickets are definitely catching up.

Still a hockey country after all.

reply

It is but basketball has made incredible inroads since the expansion years.

reply

How could it not with such standout players as "Big Country" Reeves?

reply

The good old days. Shareef Abdur-Rahim. No one thought to call him SAR

reply

Haha, now you guys are just trolling and making fun of the crappy Vancouver Grizzlies.

reply

They actually were one of my favorite NBA Live '99 teams to play with.

reply

No way. I liked the Grizzlies. As long as they weren't playing the Raps.
