I understand that, but Bitcoin just can't be summarized in a simple sentence like this. When people say "It's simple, Bitcoin is like X", then they are really underselling  it and missing on all the other properties outside of X. 

Bitcoin is new and doesn't really match any other thing. You have to understand how it behaves, what are the implications, what are the properties...
