A continuation from my first post: #940899
The luna moth finally passed last night, and now comes the pinning. I use an old gardening knee pad as the mounting base, cut with channels to hold the body in place. Pins, a few strips of cloth to gently strap the wings - all simple DIY stuff.
It takes a bit of time and patience. Sometimes the parts don’t want to cooperate. But I find the process meditative, and time tends to fly by.

I'm not sure to be honest. If anything, I think it may have been Terrence Mckenna. He's a big inspiration to me and he used to be a butterfly collector.
