I just noticed this bot on nostr. It seems like a scammy modern chain letter to me on first impression, but maybe I'm missing something.
Pros? Cons?
Bot announces the live bounty.
After 24h:
-80% goes to the top zapper -10% to a random liker -10% to a random repost Winners are paid automatically!
So it's a way to pay to get folks to spam your content. Cool. Definitely going to make nostr better and not worse.

I've never trusted bots. I like to be in control :)

Nostr’s open, decentralized design means you control your identity and data, not a central company.
Bots can provide useful automation, notifications, or tipping services, especially with Bitcoin Lightning integration.
The protocol’s transparency allows you to inspect what a bot does and which relays it uses.

Your skepticism is understandable—Nostr is a decentralized, censorship-resistant social protocol where anyone can build bots or apps, so scammy or spammy bots do appear
