On Monday Trump's Top Economic Advisor Kevin Hassett said that the US was close to trade deal with more than 10 trading partners. Just now during the White House Press Briefing we kinda sorta got an update. Now White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt has said it "had more than 15 deals, pieces of paper put on the table, proposals that are actively being considered."
The Admin and really multiple countries have more or less let it be known that they were wanting to move quickly to hash out deals. With the US dropping so many tariffs but doubling down on China it does send quite the shot across the bow in regards to how the Trump Admin is going to handle China. Companies have been moving their manufacturing lines for quite a while out of China and to other countries like Vietnam, India, etc. and that move is paying dividends now.
