They look like mini dinosaurs. Especially in that setting.

That's a fake. I'm sure. I really like Komodo Dragons. I think the first time I saw one was in the movie The Freshman.

What makes you think its a fake? Its sourced from Komodo National Park, in Indonesia...

I don't know. I opened the photo up close. It just doesn't seem real to me. I could be wrong. I wonder what other stackers think?

Well, if I'm ever trying to see if an image is AI or not, I look for:

the lighting and the shadows are consistent with a light source....(they are) and the depth of field is consistent.

The species' markings are bang on, the behaviour is correct (males wrestle like this)...

And even the topography of the background is consistent with the Park, possibly Rinca or Komodo Island....

I think the scale is what threw me. I know they are big, but they look like Godzilla

haha yeah they really look like they're from a different timeline, won't be going to Komodo Island anytime soon either way!
