Hey @dread please can you make a post about your wallet Flash ?
I've tested a bit and I see that you've changed some features from the original fork (Galoy/Blink).

As far I understand from the docs page, is a mix between ecash cashu mint with option to use your own generated BTC wallet (user control the seed/keys).

Please can you explain for SN stackers here some aspects?

  • that BTC wallet seed is only for the onchain part or is also to receive over LN directly? Is using Greenlight implementation for the mobile wallet? I see in your docs you mention LND, so I suppose that part is only for the Flash node part not the mobile clients.
  • if user decide to receive "cash", it means is a cashu mint denominated in USD ?
  • that cash token can be transferred to the BTC wallet later ?

HI @DarthCoin - thanks for the questions.

  • The Docs page shows our roadmap, with a lot of stuff still coming soon (including the eCash features).
  • For now you only have the option to use a custodial Stablesats wallet, or a non-custodial* lightning enabled LBTC wallet from BreezSDK Nodeless.
  • "Cash" means the USD Stablesats wallet but we are using Ibex as the custodian instead of Galoy.
  • Using the swap button on the home screen, at any time you can swap from Cash (USD stablesat) to BTC (BreezSDKNodeless) and vice versa.

So to summarize, we have not released eCash yet.
We are using IBEX for the USD Wallet, and Breez for the BTC wallet.
Your wallet seed will allow you to recover your LBTC wallet.

Lastly, this is an open source project, so PRs and suggestions are always welcome.
