Over the years, the Bitcoin community has approved and adopted key BIPs that became part of almost every wallet and transaction.
Some of the most popular: BIP-32 — Hierarchical Deterministic wallets (one seed, endless addresses). BIP-39 — Mnemonic phrases (the famous 12 or 24 words). BIP-141 — SegWit (lower fees, higher capacity). BIP-340 — Schnorr signatures (part of Taproot, improved privacy & efficiency).
And others, while less talked about, quietly improve security and flexibility: BIP-85 — Deterministic entropy, perfect for generating multiple seeds from a single master seed. BIP-174 — Partially Signed Bitcoin Transactions (PSBT), essential for hardware wallets and collaborative custody setups.
Last month I did a video about BIP-85 for my channel, it was my first time playing with child seeds, I try it on a Seedsigner and a JADE Wallet, I really enjoyed the experience.
Which BIPs do YOU actually use or rely on?
Sometimes I feel like the Bitcoin community puts a lot of effort into developing improvements (BIPs), but they end up seeing very little adoption... maybe they’re just way ahead of their time.
Bip 32 & 39 are in all the wallets I use.

I only use Sparrow Wallet so whatever BIPs are native to that is what I use on the regular.
