running a LN node in a bundle software is not the best way. A LN node is a serious thing that many noob s are ignoring and think that just by few clicks on umbrel is done. IT IS NOT.

My simple advice: if you only want a simple LN node for your personal use (not public routing), just install on a PC a LND in neutrino mode, open 2-3 channels with good LSP and done. Forget it.

There's nothing wrong with running a private LN node.

That makes sense. I don't have any PCs other than a macbook air. And low power is important. That's why I am using an umbrel. Just for private use.

If the power is scarce, just use Zeus embedded node. Is more than enough for your needs.

Don't complicate things, when are simple solutions to use.
