Hey SN
We have just moved in with my in laws as we wait our house to be finished off. They have outside only dogs . We have had an inside dog. Since moving in she has now had to be an outside dog except for over night we let her sleep inside.
Surprisingly she has adapted well to life outside and now I’m wondering do we keep her in this pattern when we move to our new place.
What do you do with your dogs? Inside all the time or outside mix?
@realBitcoinDog happy to have a real dog perspective as well

Only in Australia did I encounter families they leave dogs as outside only as “normal.”
Stateside dogs reside indoors and sleep on their master’s bed, as it should be!
Except instead of the foot of the bed Sheila ends up on our pillows!!

Do you sleep on the end of @Undisciplined or @grayruby bed or someone else your master?

I always have inside dogs, but where we live there are laws against allowing dogs to roam free. Also, I would be nervous about auto traffic. On the other hand, if you live in an area conducive to keeping outside dogs, I don't see anything wrong with it. My dog got loose today for the first time. She ran around the property for a while and then stood at the door waiting for someone to let her in.

Definitely need to have dogs fenced into your yard. I’m not a fan of dogs that aren’t contained as they come out to you if your walking or running past and you don’t know what the dogs going to do if it’s a nice dog or not

Growing up, we had outside dogs. My wife and I have had inside dogs, who go outside whenever they feel like it, although we have discovered that Princess Jackie can fit through our fence. Hopefully, she fattens up enough to fix that situation.

That is annoying when they break out of the yard haha get some more fiat dog food into her and she will be fat soon enough

Mostly inside but my dog loves to hang out outside in the warm weather months.

My old dog slept outside in the summer... And in the winter we definitely brought his bed inside to keep him warm...

To me, dogs are outdoor animals. However, there are several breeds of dogs that are adapted for indoor. I think you should leave that choice to it. Let it live wherever it wants. 🤎
