Rural Zambia: Two weeks ago I shared this video showing #bitcoin to my friend and community leader, Mwingi, via Machankura on a feature phone without Internet:

I just heard today that Mwingi's house burned down last night due to the battery of his solar setup exploding (maybe he didn't know to use a charge controller?). Everyone's okay but his house (not to feed the stereotype but yes, it is a grass thatched hut of mud bricks) is gone and all was basically destroyed.
