Reminds me of my favorite Jordan Peterson line: "There's also some dumb thing you can do to make things worse."
Not sure if that's relevant, but it usually is.
What the world needs more than almost anything is humble leaders willing to do the hard thing. Nothing. Freedom and free markets work. I wish more people actually believed it and weren't commies pretending to be liberals and conservatives.

There has never been an empire of wealth and sustained dominance that did not combine the power projection capacity of the state with its trading and manufacturing merchants.
The nation state and its strategic power projection role in facilitating stable rule of law internally and resource capture, trade routes and market access externally is a crucial factor in the wealth of nations.
A cursory study of history confirms this and relieves us of the delusional Libertarian dogma that free markets are all you need.

Willing. Sometimes you may need to do something but these power hungry sociopaths are so duluded they think they must do something even when they have no clue about the consequences.
The masses still worship false gods. Men pretending to be deities. Men pretending systems are gods.

Remember when they just made up random rules and acted like they knew what they were doing during Covid.
History is littered with the arrogance of man. Elites that view us as fodder to be used to build emipres. They pit us one against another. People that have to beef with one another. Jesus showed us a better way but he was killed by people like I am describing. He is King and will return to rule and reign.
