Is a clean-shave just a societal construct or a sign of civilization? Does facial hair signal masculinity more or less than a bare chin?
Men had some pretty awesome beards throughout history; one of my favorites is earnest hemmingway.
Also, feel free to share other awesome facial hair in the comments.

I haven't shaved in over 15 years... Trims. Yes.
Shave. No.
I'm about four inches deep right now.
Tell the ladies...
Actually don't. I'm happily married.

4 inches is impressive and it seems you are in good company here on SN. I'm going for a year (a yeard?). Four months in. We'll see how it goes.

I just tend to find having a beard less annoying than shaving. I'd prefer neither.
Isn't it trivially obvious that beards are a sign of masculinity?

It's definitely masculine imo, but more so than a strong mustache? I wonder why the military doesn't allow them. Is a disciplined militia more frightening than a manly one? Maybe it is.

Beeeeaaarrrddd please.
This is a thought 💭 that flooded my head for some time.
With respect to hair cuts, I feel that it is something that imposed us in some way and then normalized. To the point where you do not, they perceive you as someone strange.

Beard looks good when it's long. It's looks bad when it's short.
