I'm not sure if this is as common an occurrence for others as for me, but just in case other stackers are experiencing this too today, I figured I would make a post. The Send connection failed about 3 hours ago. I attempted to create a new connection, but got this error message:
failed to create test invoice: timeout after 45 s
It began working again a few minutes ago without any further action from me.

Self-hosted? Or maybe their relay at wss://relay.getalby.com/ is still having issues sometimes.

I "like" how we name it self-hosted but still depend 100% of their relay :)

the worst one. They also censor by IP.
I would not use primal at all.
What about abusing primal?

If you have time and patience, I suggest you to start trying LNbits v.1.
I suppose that AlbyHub is installed on top of an existing node you already have.
So just try with Lnbits + NWC extension + nostr client extension (to use any relay you want, also your own one with nostr relay).
You will learn more things and have 2 different options to use your node with NWC.
I also want to just create an LNbits connection and see how that compares to Alby Hub NWC.
nwc is good but is better to avoid to depend on others relays.
If there's an option to change the relay, that will be an easy fix.
Anyways, experiencing more solutions is always good.
I have been thinking the same thing. Does LNbits work with CLN? I am just using my other node for Ocean payouts and I would like an alternative for SN.
LNbits works with a lot of funding backends: CLN, LND, phoenixd, other lnbits, other lndhub account, NWC accounts, Blink, LNpay, Opennode, Alby, Boltz, ZBD, Breez SDK...

what alby hub version do you run? (make sure to run v1.16)
where/how do you run it?
do you have an event id or a pubkey to share for debugging?
can you look into the alby hub logs?
