Cornell has great bird information. We probably get 3 or 4 different woodpecker species on our feeders. They all sound the same to me when they are pecking our house.

I think I saw a pileated woodpecker yesterday. At least I thought it was one. It was walking on the ground more like a heron so I'm probably wrong.
