The issue with it is the data is all stored on servers in China and China passed legislation that the CCP can force any company for any reason to turn over whatever data they want. There isn't any recourse or prevention unlike most other countries.
What data? You can download the model and run it locally on your own hardware.

Those are the web service T&C's. You do not need to use the web/API. Deepseek is an open model you can download and run it locally, data is stored on your computer.
