Wasn’t going to chime in on this debate but China is not strong economically. Sure they manufacture a lot of stuff and use their economic capacity to buy influence and critical infrastructure from poor countries but their demographics are horrendous. They don’t produce any energy and import the majority of their food. They are a top down dictatorship so there is little innovation beyond copying what others create. If countries do start to become more protectionist, like the US is becoming, China will have a major reckoning. No one wants to invest in China because there is a good chance the communist gov won’t let you take your capital back out of the country.
I am much more bullish on future of India than China.
Thanks. I agree and I definitely know the problems China has. I took its name just to provoke some more patriotism (Americans think China not India a competitor) in our occasionally thoughtful opponent team's captain.
I don't want to mingle politics in sports but as a captain of team international, I'll speak for all nations except 'Murica.
If that's so, let him reveal all his love for Trump. Haha..
You're letting Trump live in your head rent free.
TBH, I don't hate Trump. But he can't afford any space in my mind. The only person in my mind is @Undisciplined, rent free forever. ;)
One of us! One of us!
So far you’re nailing your statehood audition.
Haha! Give us @supercyclone and take @grayruby
"Gimme, gimme, gimme." That's all we ever hear from the rest of you.
Ask not what America can give to you. Ask what you can give to America.
That's called exchange but Ok. I give you back what you deserve in the next round.
JFK vibes
Same logic, I'm just being more inclusive.
May seem exaggerated to you because Americans have never been more delusional ever before.
No, not anymore. It's either india or china or both.
