110% agree! I think Switch 2 is a clear pivot away from it though given all the stuff packed into it. They even have the 2K games coming over finally and just in general bloody violent games as well.
From what I have read when systems first launch they are often priced at a point that the margins are slim to none. Some companies will even sell at a slight loss but with the tariff essentially the price was raised by $50
It's definitely a bold move. Heard they're gonna charge $80 for Mario Kart too!
Dunno if this is smart for Nintendo. They have a reputation as the family friendly kid friendly option, which usually means lower cost.

They did highlight the Nintendo Parental Control iPhone app that allows you to disable various things
They also just had to up the tech big time as well given Hogwats legacy and how degraded the switch version is even after the developers took time to throttle it down for the system
