I think it's more that if you're going to use a sledgehammer there better be some clearly positive results.
We were promised major disclosures on a whole host of things and other than the JFK stuff it's basically been crickets.
Elon's hyped up all this wasted spending and then they pass an even bigger spending bill.
It looks like a clown show and no one (barring a few exceptions) is getting what they wanted.
Tbh i could have told you the day after the election that this wasn't as clean as people though. Yes the WH and Senate were clearly won but the House… that was an issue.
In my eyes Doge/Elon has two issues… first off they are tied up in legal battles over cutting government employees… the second was they didn't realize that the programs that have a TONNNNNN of waste have a small sliver that do benefit people. When they hit those programs and people lose the small sliver they flip.
Not to mention markets love certainty and Trump has been all over the place. Companies… US companies made investments in X, Y, and Z and now he's messing with those. Well if the companies have to cut costs to cover the losses… US workers are going to get hit.

Trump has been in office for 70 days.
His agenda is being stymied by left wing judicial activists in DC.

And by Congressional Republicans who really aren't on board.
