I have a theory that learning which switch does what is a distinctly male ability. After years living in the same house, and spending more time in it than I do, my wife still has no idea which switch turns on which lights or fans.

edit: oh, you also mean normal switches, not just circuit breaker switches

Yeah, I haven't mapped out our circuit breaker switches either. It comes up so infrequently, but the previous owners did manage to mislabel them, so it will need to be done eventually.

Mine are labelled well, because we live in an area where we used to lose power every big storm. We have a whole house generator, but we used to have a small honda that would just keep power to the well and refrigerator/freezer. That's also why I always had a battery backup for bitcoin stuff. I blew it this time.
