Do you really think the parties did a big flip on this? Those that thought vaccines were poison from the start thought so whether it was Trump or Obiden pushing them. They refused them under either regime. Did it matter what the official stance of either party had? For some strange reason, I don’t think it did, on this issue.

You cant have your cake and eat it to. If you say the vaccine was rushed out in Trump's last says and it isnt on him then you cant say the Trump Admin was against them even though they very publicly and clearly were.
You have to pick one you can't have both. Trump was and is the face of the Republican Party and whatever he says its the way the party goes. That is clear as day so again. You have to pick one or the other you cant cherry pick from both sides.

I guess, then, that the fraud perpetrated on Trump by Birx and Fauci means that fraud does not vitiate all. In that case, Trump is responsible to the max. Whether he was defrauded or not means nothing.
Yes that is the way many progressive/lefty/collectivist/Marxist/socialist/communist/murderers think. I understand completely, now. Fraud is only another tool in the tool box, isn’t it?

I remember the first few months, it was Republicans/conservatives who were wearing masks and Democrats/progressives calling them racist for worrying about it.
reply
Oh!! There were many, many conservative/republican/statists that wouldn’t hear a word of it because their bullisht meters were pegging out. Didn’t your BS meter go crazy? Mine did and I didn’t wear masks and I went everywhere I wanted unless they refused my custom (and I still haven’t been back) and stood within 6 feet of people. There were many like me, here.

I didn't start seeing red flags until actual mandates and restrictions started rolling out that made no sense and people were getting censored for asking reasonable questions. That didn't start until a few months in.

The red flags for me went off when they started talking about masking and how effective it was and staying six feet away from everybody else. The plexiglass partitions and all the other accoutrements cemented in my mind that it was all about control, not health. I had seen the effectiveness of masks while living in Japan, it was a joke, but it was an accepted practice. I think the idea for it came right out of China and Japan.

While it was people and businesses voluntarily taking protective measures, I just figured we were all learning by doing and most things would turn out to not be very useful but some would.
That was definitely naive of me, but I won't pretend to have been more savvy than I was.

I had a lot of problems with the “voluntary” protective measures. I would never follow the arrows on the floors of the grocery stores and always go in the opposite direction. I would make loud comments on the ridiculousness of the situation and tell people to go bother someone that cared about this BS. To say the least, I made myself into a troublemaker whenever I could. I also got into problems because I liked going where I wanted to go, when I wanted to go. I especially saw red over the church closings and censorship.
