If they were a proxy for WoS the whole time any way, I wonder why they're deciding to remove it.
As of Feb 1, 2024, the Lightning wallet in Exodus is no longer available for US customers. Lightning wallets in Exodus are provided by custodial third-party API provider Wallet of Satoshi, which announced they no longer serve US customers.

I've heard of companies specifically staying away from lightning due to them making their money from paying the onchain fees.

Shitcoin wallet exchange it does it all! too many security vulnerabilities used them early when I stopped using coinbase..I tell everyone they could FTX u just be careful
