I was at a small gathering for a very good friend's birthday, and there were people I didn't know. The night was going normally, with casual conversations about places, anecdotes, work, and for a moment, money, before focusing specifically on credit cards. Everyone was talking about the banks they used, their interest rates, and all that sort of stuff that comes with having a credit card. Throughout the conversation, I just sat there in silence until someone there mentioned the word "Bitcoin." Now they had my full attention. Although I remained silent, I wanted to hear what he had to say. He talked about a card called "Lemon" . He said something about being able to pay with different shitcoins and Bitcoin, and that with every purchase you make with the card, you get 1% or 2% cash back in sats. I didn't participate in that conversation, but I did turn to my friend, who was sitting right next to me, and asked him, "Was it because of him that you got into a Ponzi scheme a few years ago?" The answer was: yes (Back then when they told my husband and I what they were doing we immediately told them that they were in a scam and that they would try to withdraw their money. It was something to "make money" with Bitcoin, the truth is I don't remember very well what they tried to explain to us, the point is that we insisted that that was not the real essence of Bitcoin, what they did was not belong to the Bitcoin world. They ignored us, they didn't want to listen or help). In last night's meeting after bringing up that topic of conversation again with my friend, I reminded him again what the real purpose of Bitcoin was and that if perhaps he did not understand me or wanted better and more detailed information I could recommend good guides. I sent him the @DarthCoin beginner's guide to get started.
I couldn't do more for him; there was a lot of noise, little concentration, and the conversation quickly changed topics. But I feel calm because I was able to leave that small thorn in his mind in that short conversation. I have hope that he'll be interested in entering this burrow.

"Bees 🐝do not waste time, telling 🪰flies that honey is better than shit"
That is my motto for non-coiners.
In those conversations, I make my stupid and always say:
And I think that Darthcoin's guides are not for the uninitiated.
They are overwhelmed.
In order to study the dark teacher's guides, you must have a small flash of Bitcoin or at least shitcoins in your brain (cryptocurrencies in general) but there is that previous flash, it is very difficult for a standard to get hooked in the guides or understand them.

I think you did enough for him. Now it’s his turn. :)
Cool story, thanks for sharing. The link to Lemon and the screenshot made it extra real for me.
