The NBA playoffs are almost here. I thought it a good time to update my NBA power rankings heading into the playoff season. I will only be including 21 teams in this power ranking. No point in including teams that have no hope at the playoffs in a pre-playoff power ranking.

Edit: Just saw the Grizzlies news and dropped them down a bit.
Warriors 5? They might be in the play in.
Not sure what the Grizzlies are doing.
Their record with Steph and Jimmy is insane.
They better hope they don't face the mighty Rockets in round 1.
I'm pretty sure you have that backwards.
If they keep playing well they probably won't be in the play in and will play the Nuggets round 1.

Cavs suck. Move the Pistons to 3.
I do have the Cavs down in that next group conceptually, but still in third. If the Nuggets were looking any better, I would have put them ahead.
I could see putting Detroit over Houston.

But given their combined playoff experience, I think I'd give them higher chances than the Rockets in the playoffs.

Have to give the Rockets their due. I wanted to put them a bit lower but they keep winning and sitting 2nd in the better conference.

Almost forgot to make my list and went to bed. Posting this quite late, but I guess better late than never. I made the list on a separate text file, without SN open, so I wouldn't see you guys' lists. Pretty similar top 4 teams and bottom 4 teams, it's the middle ones that are quite different.
I like your list. At least you didn’t have the Rockets 10th.
Rockets are a good team, but they are just young and lack post season experience, that's why I didn't have them higher.
