This should not come as a surprise as the container that the spacecraft was in was damaged during transit to Florida for an upcoming launch. NASA was not initially sure if the spacecraft itself was damaged or just its shipping container but have since discovered it was in fact damaged.
Thankfully this should not impact ISS missions as this was only carrying food and other supplies which the astronauts have plenty of on the ISS. Plus NASA has already announced that the next SpaceX launch to the ISS was going to carry more food when it launched next month so the stocks will be replenished!
