Yeah, at least the Orioles are a good team. Getting stomped by the worst team in history on opening day is a new low even for the Angels.

Holy Shit...... I just saw it and geez..... Everyone got hit except for the guy that walked and hit someone before getting pulled in Lovelady...
That being said is Berrios really that good? I know he has a mid 3 ERA which isnt bad but def not great either.

He is good. Solid. Never gets hurt. A guy that gives you a 3.50 era and makes all his starts is rare now. He isn’t elite but he is a good pitcher. I am surprised they didn’t start Gausman but this is Gausman’s last year and Berrios is signed for a few more so I think they are just acknowledging he is their guy going forward.

Ahhhh okay that makes sense. It turns out one of my good friends who played softball at West Point dated him in High School in Colorado. She kept calling him Kevin like I was supposed to know who Kevin was and found out that way lmao
