I finally know why 11 is eleven and 12 is twelve. Now I want to know where "teen" came from.
Chinese way of counting may explain why Chinese are so good at math?
It's literally
ten one
ten two
ten three ...
two ten one
two ten two ...
one hundred three ten five, etc
So we both learned something new today 🙂
