Russia is developing a plasma engine that could reduce the travel time to Mars from seven months to 30-60 days. The project, led by Rosatom, uses a magnetic plasma accelerator with a power of 300 kW, allowing for greater speed and less exposure to cosmic radiation. 🧲
The prototype has already been created, but the technology is still in its early stages and the first real tests are scheduled for 2030.
