I know this is an older show but I had never seen it. Watched the first couple episodes over the weekend and liked it. I think I will stick with it.

I enjoyed it a lot, though it's been years since I watched, and I think I may have missed the final season. But yeah, big fan of a good pirate story, and this one worked for me.

then this is your best series with pirates. Good actors too, good plot (kind of trying to follow the history). Action, drama, suspense all the way!

I only watched a few episodes of Black Sails and thought it was pretty good, but didn't continue (mainly just due to time)
I also love the pirates theme... I happen to be playing Assassin's Creed Black Flag at the moment :)
