Yeah, it's nice having a short haired cat for a change. We had a great long haired black cat for 18 years. His hair was often messy and sometimes you would find a foul surprise!

Yes, especially when they get older.

Its especially bad after winter going into spring. They are shedding their winter coat but cant keep up with it.
