Ok, ngl, those graphs are a little concerning. Our items and sats are on a steady decline. Still, we aren't far out from profitability and there are only six or seven profitable territories over this period.

What we're doing well is engagement on the posts we do get, almost twice the SN average for comments per post. The daily accountability post from @IamSINGLE has been fairly successful.

My suggestion is that we lower the posting fee, so people are more comfortable sharing their smaller health updates and starting conversations. We aren't attracting the longer form posts that warrant our relatively high fee.

How low shall we go for our posting fee? Currently 99 sats.

We're averaging about 200 posts per month and almost 10 comments per post. Each post currently makes us 70 sats + 30 more from the comment fees + about 80 more sats from zaps.

Let's assume we keep getting the same income from comments and zaps:

99 sats: at about 180 sats per post, we need about 9 posts per day to break even
69 sats: at about 160 sats per post, we need about 10 posts per day to break even
49 sats: at about 150 sats per post, we need about 11 posts per day to break even
42 sats: at about 140 sats per post, we need about 12 posts per day to break even
21 sats: at about 130 sats per post, we need about 13 posts per day to break even

Personally, I don't think dropping below 49 will increase the rate of good posts that people actually comment on and/or zap bigly. I'm pretty confident that dropping to 69 will get us one more post per day and I wouldn't be surprised if dropping to 49 got us another one.

I'd like to hear what the others think.

I thought about recommending we drop the comment fee to 5 sats. I'm not sure if 10 discourages any comments, but if it does we should lower it.

At 10 sat I wouldn’t have a long back and forth due to the costs adding up cheaper comment price I can then zap responses more . Sats for the content not the founders only if that makes sense

Reducing the posting fees can increase the volume of posts. The volume of comments is good, perhaps reducing this fee a little would also help with the volume of posts regarding the topics.

Some other territories have reduced their fees since we started this one and now ours are on the higher end.
