Banned books? What year is this? 1939?

With reading rates and literacy declining, this always seems like a symbolic gesture. It also just ends up elevating the books to another level of cult status.

I ain't for banning books... we just need to be better on educating our kids what's real (bad vs evil) and normal and what's phony baloney and cry for attention... is all
