Which is your favorite Science Fiction series? Part VIII
Which series of Science Fiction books do like the best? This is part eight of the polls to find the most favored series.
These choices were chosen from previous polls as the highest rated. We are looking at a series of at least two or three books. There are many series out there and I could only list a few. I must admit that I have not read many of these. Especially non-English writers’ series. If you have others, not listed please put them in comments. I will publish the results after the poll closes.

Dune for sure.
The Expanse is at the top of my unread fiction list.

I just dropped in on my favorite science fiction bookstore and picked up a few books to fill out various sagas that I have holes in. Since I only buy used paperbacks, I only found a few from the Dune saga. I have made up a wishlist too send them so they can pick books out of their stream as they come in. In a few months, I hope to fill out all of the Dune universe books.

That's one of the hobbies I enjoy as well. Once we're settled in for the long run somewhere, I'm going to get back to it.

The only problem is that my wife complains about where to put the books. Stacks here and stacks there don’t seem to make her feel good. Then I get to hear about it, too. A while ago, we went to a book sale fundraiser where all the books were donated and selling for a song and a dance, so I bought a box full. I haven’t gotten to as many as I would have liked to, yet.

When I was in college there were so many great cheap books at yard sales and at the local thrift store. Benefit of a college town around a tech school.

I cannot seem to find that kind of books, anymore. The yard and garage sales seem bereft of books, lately. I have seen some at Estate sales, though. I think book people are becoming fewer and fewer. I never seem to see people reading books while sitting around, or waiting for someone. They are always at their devices, cricking their necks.
forever war is probably my favorite sci fi book. He made sequels ? I'll have to look into this

oh, Joe Halden is the author in your list. I was thinking of the forever war by Joe Haldeman.
reply
Yes, It was Forever War. It was another really good read that predicts the future that we have started to walk to. Forever Wars seem to be something we have been doing for a while now.
