I think you are missing something. The chart isn't about expectation for levels of unemployment, at least not how I read it, but for changes in unemployment.
Right now, 66% of people are expecting there to be more unemployment over the next year. That makes sense, because unemployment has been low and there's a lot of economic uncertainty on the horizon.
When the economy was locked down, unemployment was extremely high and people were hoping for a return to normal, so very few expected unemployment to increase.

Ahh got it. This makes a solid sense. However I wasn't missing on the changes in unemployment scenario. I just wanted to uphold that the rise in job anxiety represents a grimmer outlook.
But now it's clear, the data may be switched in a way to confuse normies like me.
Thank you so much.
Trump is gaining me more knowledge than Biden could ever do. I now think I should give the man some respect. TBH, I don't show it but I believe Trump is 100 times better than Biden for America.

I'm hopeful that he'll also be 100x better for the rest of the world. We'll see.

Oh! I forgot to add ...100x better for USA. He, however missed another 900x by not being a true Bitcoin president.

All I hoped for on that front is that he would not be actively hostile, which the rest of the ruling class is, and so far we've gotten that.

Yupp, he isn't that bad, at least not from India's perspective. I'm sure he wouldn't ever be hostile to India if US sees China as the biggest competition to their domination.
I and all of India including Modi like Trump. You see he made it clear that the tariffs on India will be higher or lower to what India applies. And this came without any negotiations.
What I see in today's world, there are perhaps only two genuine selfless leaders in the world right now, no.1 is Modi and no. 2 is Trump. However they both are/may be selfless because of their backgrounds. Modi doesn't want money because he has left his family and worldly pursuits behind, Trump on the other hand is already so rich that I don't think he needs more money for himself. That said I accept I might be wrong about both.

Trump's probably too narcissistic to be considered selfless, but I think he is trying to do what he thinks is the right thing and he wants lots of credit for doing so.
